Future Perfect Continuous
A Future Perfect Continuous segítségével olyan cselekvésekről beszélünk, amelyek egy adott jövőbeli időpontig már bizonyos ideje folyamatban lesznek.
Míg a Future Perfect gyakran azt hangsúlyozza, hogy valami addigra elkészül vagy befejeződik, a Future Perfect Continuous inkább azt mutatja meg, hogy egy tevékenység mennyi ideje fog zajlani addigra.

A hangsúly nem azon van, hogy befejezem-e a tanulást, hanem azon, hogy addigra három órája folyamatban lesz a tevékenység.
2. Időtartam hangsúlyozása
A Future Perfect Continuous-t különösen gyakran használjuk, amikor egy jövőbeli időpontból visszatekintve azt akarjuk megmondani, mennyi ideje tart majd egy tevékenység.
By Friday, I will have been working on the project for two weeks.

A hangsúly itt is a folyamaton és időtartamon van.
4. Hogyan képzeljük el idővonalon?
Képzeljünk el egy jövőbeli időpontot:

A Future Perfect Continuous mellett különösen gyakran használjuk a for kifejezést, amikor időtartamot fejezünk ki.

Például:

A since is használható, ha a kezdőpontot szeretnénk megadni:
since Monday
since 2020
since January
Például:
By next year, she will have been living here since 2020.
A for és since különbsége:
for = időtartam

11. Future Perfect vagy Future Perfect Continuous?

Future Continuous
Egy adott jövőbeli pillanatban valami éppen zajlik majd.
At 8 pm, I will be studying. → 8 órakor éppen tanulni fogok.
Future Perfect Continuous
Egy adott jövőbeli pillanatig valami már egy ideje folyamatban lesz.
By 8 pm, I will have been studying for three hours. → 8 órára már három órája tanulni fogok.
A különbség:
Future Continuous → mi fog éppen zajlani?
Future Perfect Continuous → mióta fog addigra zajlani?
